Gajar Ki Burfy or Carrot Burfy Quick and Easy Recipe by Khana Manpasand

Ingredients:-

Grated carrots -                             1/2 kg.
Sugar -                                          1 & 1/2 cup
Desi Ghee
 (clarified butter )-                          4 tbsp
Kaju (in halves)-                             10 -12
Fresh cardomam powder crushed  -1/2 tsp
Coconut powder -                           75 gm or 1 cup
Milk powder -                                 150 gm
Whole milk -                                   2 cups 

Method:-


  1. Boil  milk in a pan and add carrots to it. 
  2. Let them be soft, cook on high flame.
  3. When mixture  becomes dry then add ghee and saute it. 
  4. Add sugar to this mixture now it will  become of liquid consistency Add coconut powder and milk powder to this mixture. 
  5. Cook until the mixture becomes dry. 
  6. It should come to barfi consistency then pour the mixture in greased tray and decorate the cashews.
  7. Let it set in fridge for two hours.
  8. Cut the pieces and enjoy your barfi .
