Balushahi recipe/ /Badusha /Khurmi/ Perfect Balushahi with all Secret TI...






Ingredients:

1.     All-purpose flour     - 250 gm

2.     Clarified butter        -  80 ml

3.     Water                      - 80 ml

4.     Baking Powder        - ½ tsp

Ingredients for Sugar syrup:


1.     Sugar                       - 2 Cups  ( 500 gm )

2.     Water                       - 1 Cup

3.     Cardamom               -  5 -6

4.     Saffron                     - one pinch

Method:

1.     Mix all the dry ingredients for the balushahi . ( All-purpose flour + baking powder )

2.     Now add wet ingredients to the dry mixture and mix it with lite hands, do not knead this mixture.

3.     Make dough of mixture and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

4.     Make the sugar syrup of one string consistency and add cardamom and saffron to the syrup.

5.     Now cut small balls for balushahi   out of the prepared dough.

6.     Give shape of balushahi as shown in the video.

7.     Now fry the balushahi on very low flame.

8.     Always remember ….not to fry balushahi on high flame otherwise they will not puff up

9.     When balushahi starts floating on oil …….then only increase the flame.

10.  Now fry until they get golden color.

11.  Take out fried balushahi and soak in sugar syrup for 5 minutes in warm sugar syrup.

12.  Balushahi is ready to serve.
